Peace Day Open House

The U.S. Institute of Peace is a public, nonpartisan institute founded by Congress with a mission to prevent, mitigate, and resolve violent conflict abroad. The Institute’s headquarters is located at the northwest corner of the National Mall in Washington, D.C. and serves as a destination for the American public to learn about peacebuilding, and the architecture symbolizes the United States’ commitment to global peace.

USIP welcomes the public for open houses, exhibits, informational briefings, and educational workshops.
