The Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Washington D.C. welcomes you to join us on a guided tour to see how billions of dollars are printed! The tour experience begins with an introductory film and continues with a real-time guided experience exploring currency production from an enclosed walkway suspended above the production floor.


Free timed-entry tickets are required for tours. Tickets are not required to enter the Visitor Center
.


RESERVING FREE TIMED-ENTRY TOUR TICKETS
- Admission is always free.
- Select an available day and time from the calendar.
- Individuals can reserve up to nine free timed-entry tour tickets per transaction.
- Tours are approximately 45 minutes in length. 
- Limit of 40 visitors per tour.
- Tickets may be reserved 60 days in advance of today's date

Visitor Hours
Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., last tour at 2 p.m.

Visitor Extended Hours - Begins March 24 through August 29, 2025.
Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., last tour at 4 p.m.

The Tour and Visitor Center is closed on weekends, federal holidays, and December 23, 2024 through January 1, 2025.

Please note: Tour tickets go quickly during popular visiting times such as spring break, around holidays, and the National Cherry Blossom Festival

Groups larger than nine individuals click the Group Reservation link to reserve a free-timed entry group tour.

To request a free-timed entry tour through your Congressional office, contact your U.S. Senator or Representative office and ask to schedule a tour of the U.S. Currency Production at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, D.C.
