Welcome to THE POLAR EXPRESS™ train ride! The Train Ride begins with a reading of The Polar Express. Singing and Dancing Chefs serve hot chocolate & cookies. When you arrive at the North Pole, Santa boards the train and interacts with the children giving them the first gift of Christmas. Then, the chefs lead Christmas carols on the way back to Union Station. Children 2 & under are free on a lap and do not require a ticket.

COACH: Forward-facing (airline style) seating. Rows of 4, 2 seats on either side of the aisle.
FIRST CLASS: Pods of four seats facing each other with a small table in between. Sold in groups of four with a commemorative Polar Express mug (must purchase a seat for everyone in your party). Includes complimentary digital photo download.
PREMIUM UPPER DOME CAR: Mix of Booth Seating and set of Captain’s Chairs. Seats are located on the 2nd Level. Full 360-degree view with glass windows in the Dome area. PREMIUM DOME CAR: Lower Lounge: Lower-level premium seating with lounge-style seating in a spacious area. Sensory-friendly experiences are available on November 25th and November 26th at 4:30, 6:00, and 7:15 on the Grand Rapids and Northern Lights cars. During these sensory-friendly excursions, the lights and music will be lowered, and character interaction will be quieter and conducted with understanding and care.
