Science Center @ Whipple Observatory

Experience a whole new Whipple Observatory Science Center, with more than two dozen new exhibits, hands on learning experiences, and specialty tours. 

Due to expected high demand, timed ticketed entry is required to visit the Science Center at Whipple Observatory beginning October 2024. Guests who arrive without tickets will be asked to wait or to return at a later time with tickets. 

Every guest must have their own ticket, no matter their age. Tickets are free but required. 

We will not be issuing tickets at the door. Please register for your tickets in advance. 

The Science Center at Whipple Observatory will be open to the public on select Fridays for the remainder of 2024, from 10am-4pm. 

Timed ticketed entry is required and is available every half hour during open hours. You may enter the Science Center anytime during the half hour slot shown on your tickets. For example, if your tickets show 11am, you may enter the Science Center between 11am-11:30am. This does not impact the amount of time you stay in the Science Center. 

Guests with paid tour tickets for Up Close with VERITAS ***do not need a separate ticket for the Science Center.***

The maximum number of tickets a guest may request is 6.
