Please note you are reserving free tickets for the Air & Scare outside activities at the Udvar-Hazy Center, located in Chantilly, VA.
Free timed tickets are required for the Air & Scare outside component where there will be Halloween candy and activities running from 10 am to 3 pm. Tickets are available on an hourly basis from 10 am to 1 pm.
Tickets are not necessary for visiting the indoor Air & Scare activities and exhibits inside the Museum.
Reserve your time slot for Air & Scare outside activities by selecting a time from the drop-down menu and clicking Confirm Time Slot to book. All tickets are valid until 3 pm, regardless of entrance time.
Important Conditions: Tickets for Air & Scare outside activities are for visitors’ personal use only and are valid only for the stated visitor(s), guest(s), date, and time. Tickets may not be sold. Reservations that violate these conditions may be canceled.
General Event Information
Ticket holders may line up for the outdoor event up to 15 minutes before their hour block and join the event any time during that hour block. The outside event is expected to engage families for about 45 minutes to one hour. There may be periodic lines to the event. You are welcome to arrive at the Museum any time; access to inside Air & Scare activities and touring the exhibits does not require tickets.
- Children up to the age of 15 are welcome to wear a Halloween mask.
- All visitors are welcome to wear costumes to the Museum. Halloween masks are prohibited for individuals 16 years of age and older.
- Real and costume weapons are not permitted in the Museum or anywhere on museum property, including the outdoor area of this event.
- Face coverings are not required, but may be worn.
Personal Belongings: We encourage you to limit the number of personal belongings and bags you bring into our facility, as they will be subject to a thorough search. Limiting the items you bring will increase your speed through security checkpoints.
