    BIO:

It was 1999, six years after finishing his collegiate basketball career at Division III Whitewater College, and bouncing around jobs that Kevin found himself in the real world with no real job skills and a strong desire to work an hour a day.  What to do?  Inspired by nights on the couch watching Def Comedy Jam and challenged by his roommate, Kevin decided to head over to nearby Madison, WI and try the “Open-Mic Night”.  “I always was the guy who could make people laugh, and lets be honest I had nothing better going on”.

Fast forward to present day, Kevin is still going on-stage, and he has found the job that fit his requirements.  “For an hour a night I’m wildly successful”.  With a smooth and clever style, a great smile and a contagious laugh Kevin has been entertaining in clubs and colleges across the country.  In 2000 he was the winner of the Midwest region of the HBO “Comedy Competition” and flew to Los Angeles to compete as a finalist.  He performed on Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend” in 2003, and finished 2nd in the Boston Comedy Competition in 2005.  He was a semi-finalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” in 2015.  Kevin has appeared on Comedy Central, NBC, CBS and Fox.  His Dry Bar Comedy Special, “Clean & Unfiltered” has over  7 million views

    SUMMARY

In this cult classic presented by The Denver Improv with BeeHive Productions, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.”  That “Sweet Transvestite” and his motley crew did the “Time Warp” on Broadway in a 25th anniversary revival. Complete with sass from the audience, cascading toilet paper, and an array of other audience participation props, this deliberately kitschy rock ’n’ roll sci-fi gothic musical is more fun than ever.

    HISTORY

The original London production of The Rocky Horrow Show, directed by Jim Sharman, premiered at the Royal Court Theatre on June 19, 1973 and won the 1973 Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Musical. Later transferring to several other locations in London, the show ran for a total of 2,960 performances. On March 10, 1975, The Rocky Horrow Show opened on Broadway at the Belasco Theatre, starring Tim Curry and featuring Meatloaf and “Ritz” O’Brien. In 2001, the show returned to Broadway at Circle in the Square Theatre, starring Raúl Esparza, Tom Hewitt, Alice Ripley and Jarrod Emick. Directed by Christopher Ashley, the revival ran for 437 performances.

    About the Artist:
Is it an inspiring comedy show?

    Is it a confidence workshop?

Is it a networking event for professional women?

Is it a fun afternoon with my gal pals?

    YES! YES! YES! YES!

The Confidence & Comedy Bash is the perfect mix of light-hearted humor and transformative self-awareness. This isnʼt just another event; itʼs an experience crafted for professional women (and a few really aware guys) to own their worth, embrace their stories, and laugh without limits.

Talented playwright, producer, and comedian, Merit Kahn, kicks off the event with her one-woman inspiring comedy show that beautifully blends humor and heart, taking the audience on a rollercoaster ride through her life's five very relatable decades. You'll laugh, reflect, and undoubtedly see your own story in a new comedic light.

Unlike the typical theater performance, you will get a peek behind the curtain and an opportunity to infuse the core principles of courage and confidence from the stories in the show into your own life as Merit guides you through a program that leaves you empowered by what's possible.

If you like theater, comedy, personal and professional development, this event is tailor made for you.
