More than a century has passed since its violent, scandalous premiere.  And still, The Rite of Spring continues to surprise and provoke, excite and enthrall.   Valentina Peleggi conducts Stravinsky’s savage masterpiece. Plus, two masterworks of French Impressionism: Debussy’s sensuous La Mer and Ravel’s jazz-inspired Piano Concerto in G with young Clayton Stephenson.   “Not just a remarkable virtuoso,” raves Gramophone, “but a poet, a dramatist and a master story-teller.”
