Wunderhorse
Doors Open: 8:00 PM
Wunderhorse are Jacob Slater, Harry Fowler, Peter Woodin & Jamie Staples.
2022 saw the release of their debut album Cub, a collection of songs which found fans in Zane Lowe, NME, and BBC Radio 1, and took the band on tour with the likes of Fontaines D.C., Pixies, Sam Fender, and Foals, whilst also selling out their own headline slots along the way.
Their new album Midas was released on 30th August 2024.
With their name translating to “two faces” in French, Deux Visages dreamed up their gorgeously unpredictable brand of garage-rock by tapping into the eclectic musicality of vocalist Daphney Hanono, guitarist Jack Chiu, bassist Tony Jouvin, and drummer Antoine Lappin. Co-founded by Hanono and Lappin in 2019, Deux Visages might seem transported directly from a far-off time when indie-rock ruled the zeitgeist at first listen. But beneath the Miami-based band’s frenetic riffs and visceral rhythms lie an emotionality and tension entirely distinct to the modern era. After breaking through with their self-released single “Cheetah” in March 2023 —and earning their name as an explosive live act despite the steady disappearance of underground venues around their hometown—Deux Visages released debut single “Tethered” and are set to work on their forthcoming full-length debut: a coming-of-age album that’s equal parts introspective, exhilarating, and wildly cathartic.
True to the restless spirit of their music, Deux Visages deliver an unbridled live show that creates an immediate camaraderie with the audience. As Deux Visages expand their reach across the country and beyond, one of their main ambitions is to help foster the resurgence of rock music among younger generations.
