Following the critically acclaimed and sold out shows this year, John is continuing in his celebration of ‘The Moody Blues’ music, and the iconic album ‘Days of Future Passed’. ‘Performs Days of Future Passed’ encompasses a first set of electric Moodies classics featuring all the fan favourites such as ‘Isn’t Life Strange’, ‘Legend of a Mind’, ‘I’m Just a Singer (in a Rock and Roll Band)’, ‘Ride my See-Saw’, and so much more. The second set will see John and his band perform the iconic album ‘Days of Future Passed’ in its entirety, and in full symphonic sound.The show also features a special video and recording by Graeme Edge of his poems ‘Morning Glory’ and ‘Late Lament’. Jon Davison of YES also joins John on stage to perform the classic songs, “Nights in White Satin” and ‘Tuesday Afternoon’.

The Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction will hold the third annual theatre fundraising event, An Evening of Broadway, on Wednesday August 14 at 7PM at The Colonial Theatre in Laconia.
The event is family-friendly, and tickets range from $20 (General Admission) - $30 (Reserved Seating). Individuals are also invited to sponsor a seat for $20 per child to allow children from the Boys and Girls Club and other local nonprofits to attend at no cost. In 2023, we hosted 300 children thanks to our Sponsor a Seat initiative!
“We are very excited to be collaborating with local community theatre groups to continue to create this fundraising event,” states Jennifer Kelley, the Auction’s executive director. “Our area is robust with talent, and we are eager to showcase them. We are also thrilled to give kids in need the ability to attend the show at no cost with our Sponsor a Seat initiative.”The show will offer musical performances of all ages from local community theatre, dance groups and the talented Powerchords!

The only way for a story to progress is to turn the page. John Ondrasik — the songwriter and performer known as the platinum-selling, Grammy-nominated, Five For Fighting — knows this well. Similar to other legendary rock and roll neighborhoods of the same era like Haight Ashbury in San Francisco or Greenwich Village in NYC, Laurel Canyon was a community of artists who would forge a new genre of music (Folk Rock) and forever change the look, sound and attitude of American pop music. Live from Laurel Canyon celebrates The Mamas and The Papas, the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, Doors, Crosby, Stills, Nash, Neil Young, James Taylor, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, America, and the Eagles with their own unique interpretations of some of the most iconic songs of the era.
