The world’s number one Elton John tribute band are coming to play All The Hits by Elton John.

The spectacular show includes Bennie and the Jets, Tiny Dancer, Rocket Man, Candle In The Wind, Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me, I’m Still Standing, Crocodile Rock and Your Song. They will also be performing classic album tracks like Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding from Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, the multi-platinum double LP released in 1973.

Tom Cridland, playing the part of Elton John on lead vocals and piano, is close friends with Elton John drummer, Nigel Olsson, has recorded songs and episodes of his Greatest Music of All Time Podcast with Elton John guitarist, Davey Johnstone... and has even met Sir Elton himself, the man who Tom credits with helping him recover from alcoholism.

The level of attention to detail in recreating the music and fabulous costumes of Elton John & His Band is simply unparalleled.

Mario (Mateusz Banasiuk) i Janek (Rafał Zawierucha) postanawiają zorganizować epicki wieczór kawalerski dla swojego przyjaciela. Idea jest prosta. „Co stanie się w Vegas, zostaje w Vegas”. Do dyspozycji ma być wszystko, co normalnie rozbiłoby każde narzeczeństwo, i to w ilościach bez limitu. Kobiety warte grzechu (Joanna Opozda, Magdalena Perlińska), używki o mocy tsunami i inne atrakcje wyjęte żywcem z Hollywood. Jednak, gdy na imprezę wbija gangster (Jan Wieczorkowski) z obstawą, perfekcyjnie zaplanowany wieczór zaczyna zmierzać ku katastrofie. Trzej przyjaciele będą musieli kierować się nie tylko zamiłowaniem do zakazanych substancji, ale też instynktem przetrwania. Istnieje bowiem realna obawa, że do wesela się nie zagoi…

Ballet Folklorico de Chicago 5th Anniversary–Chicago–Hispanic Heritage Month

Ballet Folklorico de Chicago, Chicago’s largest and most inclusive ballet folklorico organization, is celebrating our 5th anniversary on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The celebration will be held at Chicago’s premier event center, Copernicus Center, located at 5216 W. Lawrence Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60630.

This vibrant event will be a celebration of the Mexican culture, and the performances will combine dance and live music to bring you Mexico’s folklore and history. The dances encompass the history, geography, traditions and most particularly the African, European and Indigenous influences of the people who lived in the region where the dances originated. Each group left their mark, and you will notice the different sounds, materials, colors, and tempo during the performance.

Become closer to our traditions and let the energetic spirit of each Mexican state take over!

Ballet Folklorico de Chicago organizations’ mission: Ballet Folklorico de Chicago is a non-profit organization that provides low-cost cultural and artistic dance instruction in Chicago. Our dances are a mixture of ballet and Mexican folk dances that are rooted in African, European, and Indigenous influences and we seek to preserve all our traditions for future generations.

 

We promote education that speaks to our communities ethnic/cultural identity and instills pride in their identity. We likewise invest in our children’s futures by awarding yearly college scholarships.

We seek to elevate the reputation of our community through the arts. Our organization promotes wholesome activities that all members of the family can participate in together.

Robin Trower returns to the stage after a 5 year absence. Copernicus Center Sunday, September 22nd, 2024 @ 7:30PM.

To compete in the Novice Men & Women categories, athletes cannot have won their class at a previous NPC contest. NPC athletes competing the Men’s Classic Physique category must meet the NPC specific height and weight requirements.
