Journey through an evening of music that has captivated audiences both on the field and in the stands, with each work celebrating the legacy and artistry of DCI's finest. From the humorous sportscast of PDQ Bach’s Symphony No. 5 to the fiery rhythms of Lecuona’s Malagueña, and the emotional depths of Barber's Adagio for Strings, every piece is a nod to the unforgettable performances that have defined DCI’s history. Be there and see the concert hall transformed into a realm where the dynamic spirit of marching bands meets the timeless beauty of the Richmond Symphony, creating a mesmerizing fusion of sound, motion, and passion. Casablanca, Cinema Paradiso, On the Waterfront, and many others! Special guest Itzhak Perlman will be on hand for John Williams' haunting theme from Schindler's List on his treasured 1714 'Soil' Stradivarius. The 2024 celebratory Gala immediately follows the performance.
