In 1906, San Francisco was the largest city in the western United States and a pivotal center of finance, trade, and culture. Tragedy struck when a magnitude 8 earthquake destroyed thousands of homes and businesses, and the “Paris of the West” burned for four days. Historian Sig Unander explains how the story of San Francisco contains lessons for the Pacific Northwest as we prepare for a future Cascadia seismic event.

Featuring Scott Pemberton O Theory, Hillstomp, Forest Grove Outlaws, and Trask River Redemption. 

The concert kicks off a weekend of festivities including a Vineyard Driving Tour which will form up on Main Street on Saturday 20th at 9am; an evening of elegance dinner at Pumpkin Ridge on Saturday; and the show itself on Sunday the 21st from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. There will also be an artisan fair with food trucks and festivities on Sunday. 

The Concours d'Elegance classic car show, presented annually by the Forest Grove Rotary Club, is celebrating 50 years of elegance on the campus of Pacific University. The show not only celebrates the variety of cars through the ages, but also serves as a fundraiser to support the initiatives that Rotary supports in Forest Grove and the surrounding 
community
